Bones was founded in 2008 by Davey Edwards. Davey is a husband, father, entrepreneur and avid duck hunter. He lives in Connecticut with his wife, 3 children and two retrievers, Boka and Lena. He is a Branch Partner in a successful mortgage company which currently has two offices in his hometown. Davey demonstrates his business fundamentals by surrounding Bones with the most experienced and respected professionals in the fields of marine design, boat building, marketing, web design and finance. His goal for this company was to drastically improve an existing concept and make it something that his customers would have great trust and pride in.

Davey served  in The Marine Corps as an Aviation Mechanic, working exclusively on Pratt and Whitney jet engines for C-130's. When he is not duck hunting, he is pushing himself to the limit, having successfully completed several ultra marathons and Ironman Triathlons, including the Vermont 100.  He has faithfully served the youth and congregation at his church for over 10 years.
